On A Private Level:
Tony Pollard, a local Bathurst resident was born & bred in Bathurst & was educated locally; including completing a Bachelor of Business Studies (Accountancy) at CSU.
Tony comes from a well-known Bathurst family; his grandfather, Berty Pollard was an Accountant & Administrator at the Dairy Farmer's Depot. His father, Keith, worked as a Mechanical Engineer in & around Bathurst. Tony's uncle, Sir Reginald Pollard, was a former Chief of General Staff & his other uncle, Ralph Pollard was former Magistrate & Rent Controller of NSW. Lastly but not least, Tony's mother Nancy, was a Registered Nurse, spending many years looking after patients at the St Vincent's Hospital & former Home for the Aged.
